Crete and Knossos

Crete is amazing so far, the weather is great (actually better than great), the ruins are beautiful and things are just going good so far. Anyway, today was dedicated to Knossos, you'll find some shots below.

The so called throne room. Notice that it was (very) heavily reconstructed by Sir Arthur Evans.

Other part of the palace, just as over-reconstructed as the throne room.

The central court - and it was all mine! On a serious note, this is the place where most people believe that the very famous bull jumping took place.

A Rython, used for libations (drink offerings), the piece comes from Zakros and dates to 1500-1450 BC.
