Off to Crete

I've got a feeling that this is a good time to leave Athens for a while - and a good time to visit Crete. In short, I'll be away for a week from now on and the blog will be updated automatically (unless I, by a miracle, find a connection).


This is (interpreted as) a Mycenaean krater (vessel for the mixing of wine and water). LH IIIB period, i.e. the 13th century BC.
