Lagging behind - Mochlos, Gournia, Chamaizi

It wasn't easy to publish this post, internet is still not what it should be. Anyway, here's some shots from two days ago (Friday).

Gournia, overview of the Minoan town and palace (LMI, i.e. ca 1500 BC).

One of the Bronze Age streets that still runs through the city. It is an amazing site.

The Minoan town of Mochlos. There used to be a tiny piece of land that stretched out to the island from the mainland, now long gone.

A view of Chamaizi, a site normally interpreted as cultic. I believe that it's simply a fortress used to protect the people from pirates.
